High Drive dogs - loose lead legends and Rapid recall
Does your dog pull relentlessly on the lead? Do the come back.......until they catch a scent? I offer structured training packages designed for high drive dogs - Looking at utilising your dogs natural instincts rather than fighting against them (but does translate into all breeds)
Behaviour
Do you know what’s going on inside your dogs head?
Excessive Barking: Does your dog think they’re the neighbourhood’s official spokesperson? While barking is great for warning off intruders (or postmen, apparently), we’ll work on keeping things a bit quieter when it’s not quite so necessary.
Fear and Phobias: If your dog’s afraid of everything from the hoover to the neighbour’s garden gnome, I’m here to help them face their fears—without the need for superhero capes (though that would be adorable!).
Reactivity: Is your dog convinced that every other dog on the street is their sworn enemy? No worries! I’ll show them that not every passing pooch is auditioning for a boxing match, helping you both enjoy more relaxed walks.
Separation Anxiety: Does your dog act like you’ve gone on a six-month holiday every time you leave for the shops? I can help ease their worries and show them that life goes on—even when you’re not around for all of five minutes.
The behaviours you are seeing are just a symptom,
We look at the emotional state and cause before putting training plans in place - A holistic approach
Dog jumping up? Why…….
Dog barking? Why……
Dog pulling on the lead? Why…
Dog not coming back? Why…………..you get the idea!
For new onset behaviour problems IE reactivity a vet check is recommended to rule out any physical cause
